Time off periods

How to mark illness, injury, holidays, travel or a training camp in the calendar, and their impact on training.

For coaches and athletesUpdated:

A period tells the other side what is going on around training: illness, injury, holidays, travel, a busy spell at work, exams or a training camp. Either the athlete or the coach adds it, and the other one sees it in the calendar.

CalendarAdd period
  1. Pick the first day

Hover over the day the period starts and click the Add period icon. You can add a period in advance (holidays) or after the fact (an illness that is already over).

  2. When and what impact

Choose the Kind, set the Start and End - the last day is included. Under Impact on training, pick Training as usual, Training less or differently or Not training.

Add period form with Type, Start, End, Training impact and Colour fields and a collapsed Name and note section
  3. Name and note

The name is optional - without it the period is named after its kind. The note is a short message for the other side. Confirm with Add period.

The period's days are hatched in its colour in the calendar, with a caption on the first day. Click the strip to see the details, edit or delete it.
