The calendar is where coach and athlete meet every day. The coach adds workouts here, builds them from steps with pace, heart rate or power targets, and copies them to the following weeks and to other athletes, while the athlete sees the plan in a month, week or day view. Planned volume shows distance and duration before the workout is done.
After the session, the activity from the watch is matched to the plan, and when there was no watch, the athlete enters it manually or uploads a FIT, TCX or GPX file. Every workout has its own conversation: comments, ready-made questions about how the athlete feels, and a rating of effort. A workout whose day has passed gets a clear status: completed, missed, moved or cancelled by the coach.
The calendar also holds the longer view. Races with A, B or C priority, periods of illness or holiday, and a season split into blocks with a phase and a goal sit next to the daily workouts. You can subscribe to the plan in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, and share an activity as a sticker on your photo. The pages below cover each of these steps on its own.
