A template is a workout saved once and used many times. Instead of building every interval, warm-up and cool-down from scratch, the coach keeps proven sessions in a library and drops them into an athlete's calendar in a few clicks. The time saved on repetitive planning goes into fitting the plan to the person.
The library has two sources. System templates are ready-made workouts that you copy into your own library and adjust to your style. Your own templates are built from steps with pace, speed, heart rate, power or cadence targets, and you can also save a workout that is already in the calendar as a template.
The second page of this section shows how to plan a workout from a template in the wizard and adapt it to the athlete: change the day, the volume or the intensity without touching the original. It also explains what happens to workouts already planned when you later edit the template itself, so a change in the library does not surprise anyone in the calendar. Templates are a coach feature; the athlete sees a finished workout in their plan, whether it started from a template or from scratch.
